Peter Emmerson Productions was established in 1977 and was incorporated in 1979. The name was amended to Peter Emmerson Photography to better reflect the type of work produced. I have worked with a variety of corporate clients for many years providing unique solutions to a wide variety of visual challenges both originally in the film business and in the corporate world of photography.
Because of my documentary film background having had an influence on my photographic shooting style, I will often try and recreate lighting techniques from nature or from the stage, evoking mood, drama, or enhancing beauty. I believe I have a God given talent to capture the emotional palette within people. Photography is a craft that requires switching styles to best suit the needs of the client. The documentary style is a foundation for a shooting style but certain photographic requirements require stylizing the subject matter, so flexibility is a component to my photographic approach.
I have traveled extensively around the globe to countries such as: USA, England, France, Germany, Haiti, Japan, Singapore, Greece, Austria, Puerto Rico and all across Canada.
